Cashout exists to help you quit gambling. The details of that — what you've lost, when you struggle, who you've asked for help — are among the most sensitive things an app can hold. This page says plainly what we store, what never leaves your phone, and what we will never do with any of it.
Onboarding stays on your device
Everything you enter during onboarding — what you bet on, how often, your losses — is saved only on your phone until you create an account. If you never create one, that data never reaches us.
What we store when you have an account
Your name, your quit date, the loss amounts you report, the urges and payments you log, and your progress through the 90-day program. That's the list. We store it so your history and streaks survive a new phone.
What we never do with your data
Your gambling data is never sold and never shared with anyone. The app contains no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics with access to financial data.
App blocking is private by design
When you choose apps and websites to block, iOS provides them to Cashout as opaque tokens the app cannot read. Your selections never leave your device — we could not see which apps you blocked even if we wanted to.
Accountability partners
Your accountability partner receives only the notifications you enable — milestones, and relapses you confirm yourself. They can opt out permanently at any time by replying STOP.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from inside the app. Deletion removes all of your data within 30 days.
